My First Gig
		On Feb 9, 2003 I played my first paying performance at Grandma's Diner in Cissna Park, Il for the Congregationalist Christian Church of Roberts, Il. It was their annual Sweetheart dinner. I got to sit between the preacher and an ex school principal. Don't worry I was well behaved! I played six songs including two originals. Everyone was polite and didn't throw food at me.
							I did 6 songs- I had planned on 7 but cut it a  little short.
		I opened with Dust in the Wind by Kansas.
							I had interesting conversation and good food too!
		What a crowd! They were great- attentive and good applauders LOL!
		There were about 30 people all together from 3 to 93. I had a lot of fun- Thanks everyone!!!
